A new site called Muslim Thought has posted some analysis on the MANA Conference. I want to echo the thoughts of the author that we as non-Black American Muslims owe a great deal to Black Americans (in general) for their past struggles and sacrifices in this country to open the doors of opportunity to us. I am sorry to say that not many immigrant Muslims realize this now, but I feel that more will with education and engagement.
